My name is Ed but im I brisk I over a the message pit and Brisk at Red Mosquito.

Cant wait for Wembley :)

I saw Pearl Jam @ Astoria, Bern and reading last year :). Going to Poland and Austria to see them before hand. Lets hope they bring out some rare stuff! No avocado to support this tour.

I guess its better to put a pic up rather no pic so here it goes.

Fintin

The names Finn but you might know me as 'Fintin' in the pit or 'Ament' over at the GTW forums where I post daily...theres me at four in the morning after some partying hehe.

8 days to go!! and being just a young Edinburgh lad this will be my first(!) time seeing Pearl Jam after 4 years of loving them woop...bit worried/angry when the 10C server crashed while getting tickets (about to put a brick through the computer screen) but now I am calm-ish (lies....i have a countdown on my computer desktop haha...going crazy with anticipation)

heading down to Manchester to stay with family then driving down to get there early in queue....
my third fav band Idlewild are supporting too so I am excited to the max.

spot me as I'll be wearing these super custom made Pearl Jam jeans hehe

JimNastics & the missus

This is me (Tim / JimNastics) and the missus (Gem) at Dublin last year :O) We were also at the Astoria which was our first ever PJ show... not a bad one to break ourselves in!!

Wembley can't come soon enough, these next 4 months are gonna take forever I reckon. We're staying over at a Travelodge or Premier Inn or something or other, one of the cheapo ones just down the road from the Arena, looked ok though so should do the trick. Not sure if we'll make it to the pre-show meet-up as we're training it up from Worthing on the day, but we'll try our best!

Iva & Mario aka Pajo

Hi there everyone! We're Iva and Mario, one of the couples that Sid (aka cropdustress) was mentioning in her blog entry and we're part of the 'Croatian crew' about to come to London. Here we are waiting for the Zagreb show to start, which was, along with all the other shows ;), the best show of the 2006 tour!
Since this picture was taken we got married and danced our first dance to 'Soldier of Love' so it isn't that difficult to guess which song we want to hear at the London show. Anyway, if they do play it and you see two people dancing to it in a completely non-PJ-fan kind of way, that's probably us!
We're coming to the pre-show party as well so see ya all there and of course, at the show!

Ed will be there too... he's taking requests... He already has mine: Oceans, Wash and Release..

Harmless_Little_F***

Hello London Crew! Was Gwanin!

These are of me and my lovely wife. I have been a die-hard Pearl Jam fan since the beginning, when 'Ten' changed my life at the tender age of 11 (I remember it like it was yesterday: breaking my cassette tape by playing it 10 times fast whilst, day and night, laughing my ass off at Ed Vedder and the Chipmunks.)

In all that time I never saw them live until Reading Festival 2006. I was bitten with the bug, and I'll now be at Wembley in June. I'll be in the Wheelchair seats at the front, grinning like a kid at Children in Need. I'll be watching to see if I can identify any faces in the non-mosh non-pit (Remember, PJ wants you all to be good, kids!) Please do come and say hello, won't you. I haven't met any of you lovely guys yet, and I must. I need to put a few crazy names to some crazy faces.

Here's to bloody Wembley! Let's unleash the lion...

Irish Al

Well this is me working at my part time job!

And the Dublin Crew...thats me.....in the....t-shirt :D

I cannot wait for the London gathering of the faithful.....its gonna be fucking superb. Getting into London at about 12.30 should be in the pub by 1.30 :D

Thats it for now!

Hinny

Sydney, Australia represent!

I guess 10 shows weren't quite enough for me through the Australian leg. Especially after how this little German lady came Down Under for the November shows and kept talking about how much fun it was in Lisbon and Zagreb and Athens and blah blah blah. That's Gitta. I'm sure a few of you know her. I've inherited her ETB badge. She's not up for it this time, though. Pity. I'll do my best to cover for her.

I'm starting at Munich, then Chorzow, London, Dusseldorf, Copenhagen, Nijmegen and Werchter. For good measure, I'm gonna hit Paris to do some touristy things.

Don't dump on the international drop in! I made a deal so a local would always be getting the 10c spare. I woke up at 3am to get them 10c tix from the outset, and from the way it turned out on the BBS, it seems as though of all people it's an Aussie who scored the first pair (for Munich) through that crazy server session.

Guess I have a big target on my back now. Might need to recruit a few countrymen from Shepherds Bush to cover my back :)

It does seem like I'll have a handful of countrymen/women in tow. We don't mean you any harm.

wash_

Hello everyone. I'm Emma. That's me in Verona last year, drinking litres of beer. And for some reason there is a rose in my hair. Well, I never thought I would be planning another tour so soon, haven't really recovered from the last! I'll be off to London, Dusseldorf, Copenhagen and Nijmegen with a few scallywags that have already posted their mugshots on this blog.
Can you believe 10c has the whole floor?!! THE WHOLE FLOOOOR!!! This will be the perfect place for me to hand out 'play wash' signs.
So, see you lot out on tour with my faithfull camera to capture all shenagians.

Spearhead is in!

This is going to be one to remember for sure!
There's no way this cannot be one UNFORGETTABLE show, and I have a feeling the few days before and after will be pretty great too.
I'm looking forward to a good mash up Sunday night, then a little pre show partying on Monday, then show #20 for me!!
I'm going to finally meet my tenclub pen pal Shirley from Japan, who will be there with her brother who lives in London, and I know I'll meet a lot of other great jammers just like I've always met everywhere I've traveled to see the greatest band in the world ... from Canada to Boston to Philly to New York ... but this may be the greatest gathering of the tribes ever!! That floor is going to be INSANE!!
Good thing we're all CLOSE friends!!!!

viviflu

So, here I am. Only thanks to Aija I could get to london :) This is going to be a wow moment for sure. Better than a drug, no side effects!! This cibernetic-vibes that is beeing created in here is just perfect. Waiting for june to come, like everybody I guess. Great idea with this blog. What about a silly t-shirt on the show?

UKDave

OK, so it's as Reading, me and the boys (Sam & Dave... yeah I know!!!!) will be there... thanks Rita for the space to crash afterwards!!! Whole floor 10c?? let's make it one to remember!!!

I'm looking forward to a rare setlist although I think Corduroy, Alive, Betterman (Sam) & Daughter, Nothingman (young Dave) would go down a treat, as would either Blind Melon or Black Crowes as support... right, now to find some crappy pictures....

jdub3001

Hello everyone. My name is Jon, and my wife Jessica and I will be travelling to the London show from Dallas, TX, USA. Before you all start getting silly thoughts in your heads, we are not Bush supporters!! Anyway, this will be the 5th show I have seen PJ, dating back to '98 (Albuquerque '98, Albuquerque '00, Denver '03 and Phoenix '03). It'll be my first time overseas, and I am looking forward to exploring London (Jessica's favorite city in the world) and meeting new people. Unfortunately we did not survive the 10C server, so I had to wake up the other morning at 3am in order to purchase general public tickets, but at least we have some and I am sooooo stoked to be able to travel to Europe and see the greatest band in the world while there! Hope to meet many of you and raise a pint or two during our stay.

Ved_Shahril

I'm Shahril. June 18th will also be my second time seeing Pearl Jam, after the magic that was Astoria. In all likelihood it will also be my last time seeing them for a very long time, since home is all the way in Malaysia (only here for Uni), and the closes PJ ever comes nowadays is Australia.

No longer a 10C member, but a friend from the board (dont actually know his username) was kind enough to sell me his spare..Will probably take that eternally long train ride from Manchester to London listening to lousy Astoria mp3s to pump me up.

Didnt manage to meet too many of you guys on the board last year. Hope it'll be different this time. Rock on Jamily!

TheAnti-Santa

Hello all.. I am Anthony. London will be the second time I see Pearl Jam, after Leeds Festival last year. I wish I could go on some of these crazy road trips around the world but alas I am a poor student. This means I have never met any of you crazy folk but I am making it my mission to do the rounds on this trip.

I am going to London from Warrington in the North with a friend and will be staying with a relative of his for a couple of days either side of the show so I can meet up pretty much any time. Also hope to see some sights while I'm there as I haven't been to the capital for a while.

Pegasus

Hi,
I've met many of you last year, when after waiting 15 years to see PJ (very impatiently in the previous 5..keeping my membership in vain), The Astoria happened!
First show, small venue, 30mn cycle ride from home...what more can you ask for?!

Following the ecstasy/Orgasm that was that gig, I booked myself on 6 dates.. then added 1 before it started..then after 3 shows, all hell broke loose and I gave up the reminding of my life (for that month at least) to Pearl Jam and ended up in Athens with 16 shows under my belt, making up for lost time! but still have not heard Red Mosquito!!!

This year, I'm wiser...I know there's no way I could stand seeing a Marseille-like setlist on the net and know I could have been there! (only reason I wasn't a big wreck then is because I was at my cousin's wedding that day so never would have made it anyway).
So in that spirit and in order to save money by planning instead of adding last minute flights/hotel/tickets... I'm doing it all :D
afaik, I'm the only one so far (not sure Babs is doing Lisbon/Madrid, so maybe 2 of us).

but I'm obviously most looking forward to London:
it's my home show, and EVERYONE is here! all the people I physically met last year, and all the people I met on the boards, and many more. The most international show ever!
I said it last year: next London show is going to be the mother of all party...but I had no idea that they'd do us the whole 10c floor!!! so now I'm out of superlatives.

This is one for the history books guys and we will all be there :D ...can't wait to (re-)meet you all!
PJ is just bonus ;-)

Sandra

(UK)_foxymop

Hi everyone, I'm Megan. Really looking forward to meeting you all, especially those who were supposed to be at Hyde Park in another life but couldn't make it, cough, Ross, cough Naomi ;-) I've only seen Pearl Jam once, that was at Leeds festy last year so this is going to be my first "proper" show!!!

So it goes Muse-Saturday > Party-Sunday > Pearl Jam-Monday.. might even get some sightseeing in there too.. it's going to be one mindblowing weekend !!!

Laura aka LoDoubleU

Hi! I'm glad to say that even though I was in Nottingham with work, my OH came through for me and secured my tickets :-)
Can't wait to get together with you all again!!
See you in London! xx

Cropdustress

Hail Hail to lucky ones who are coming to London in 4,5 months!

I'm Sid aka cropdustress from the pit. Some of you might know me by now, met me in '06. or seen/talked/posted or whatever me on the message board where I practically live now that another tour is happening! :D I've been to six shows in September and had a blast. So many memories with my favorite band, with the best fans in the world...just priceless! I was also a part of the ETB from Berlin to Zagreb. Ive met so many wonderful people on the road, knowing I will see all of you again in London (and other shows) and looking forward meeting those Ive missed last time. I'll be coming with *the Croatian crew*, a good friend of mine and some couples (mostly) form Zagreb, but you will know when we get there cause we're LOUD! :p And Croatian flag will also be seen on the spot, hehe.

Dont really know what else to say except I'm so psyched for this. Never been to London before and I'm excited about that aswell. There's nothing better than going on tour with PJ, meeting new cool ppl and exploring places you havent been to :)
This tour im going for 5 shows (hopefully). Starting Munich, to Katowice, then Italy and Vienna (might skip one of these, but I hope not) the LONDON, the last one.
Crazy as I am, I might add some shows, I wish, but not and entire leg, haha. Time will tell.
I guess I had more to say afterall. You prolly got the point by now>> I talk a lot.

Bye for now and see you all in London!!! :)

Sid

jrd

it's me....errrr.... never blogged before...what can i say....?
must do beers the night before, see you all in the queue on the day and, oh yeah, i agree, you should never, EVER respect Mick Hucknall, he really is a fat c*nt!

Surfanddestroy

Hey there,
So my name is Tamara and I am a total Pearl Jam nut. I don't think I have met any of you before but am really looking forwards to doing so. Was at the Astoria but wasn't a member of the pit then so didn't make the meet up but I will most definately be there for this one.

I like to drink (a little to much) and be merry but I can be a little shy from time to time. My boyfriend will be with me who is not a Pearl Jam fan, please take it easy on him.
Anyhow that's all I have to say so I guess it's buy for now.

Duggro

Hello! I am doug

Can't wait til London of course, will be epicly epic and it'll be good to meet a few of you....or all of you!

I somehow managed to only meet a few of you in Dublin despite spending my time beforehand trying to get everyone into the same hotel! Oh well, I cannae wait til June.

Naomi - Nini

Hey, so that's me. Naomi, aka Nini. That picture was taken on the train on my way to the Astoria, as you can see, uber excited!
So, I'm really looking to be following PJ round Europe again with some of the most amazing people I have ever met! I had the honour of seeing PJ in Lisbon I & II, Paris, Verona and Milan last September, and now I'll be seeing them in London, Dusseldorf, Copenhagen and Nijmegen. And I really can't wait! This tour has happened so fast, it still hasn't sunk in!
I'll be travelling with my boyfriend Ross, and 2 touring buddies, Emma and Dave!
Can't wait to see everyone out there again.
Have a kick ass time, and I'll see u in London!
Nini x

audiodave

Hello! I'm Dave, aka audiodave, and that terrible picture there was taken last year in Verona. I don't know why i'm pulling that face though.

At the end of June 2006, I had never seen Pearl Jam. By the end of June 2007, I will have seen them 9 times! I couldn't believe my luck last year, when I somehow managed to get to five shows; Dublin, Lisbon I&II, Paris and Verona. Best time ever! I went with my friends Ross, Naomi and Emma whom I met through the message pit, and met so many other great people aswell! Pearl Jam fans are THE best people there are, it's just a fact!

So, this is all about London! I'm so excited for this show, as I missed out on the Astoria. It's going to be an awesome atmosphere with a whole floor of 10c members! I'm also lucky enough to be going to Dusseldorf, Copenhagen and Nijmegen aswell. There's only one thing that could top last year, and that's this year!

I'm really looking forward to seeing people who i've met before, and hopefully meeting a bunch of new people aswell! See you all in LONDON!!!

||Release_Me||

Hey guys!

Excuse the terrible pic...i wanted to show off my guitar lol.

It all started last April.....got tickets for the Astoria and from that moment my life changed. What followed was a trek around Europe to see good ol' Pearl Jam in Lisbon twice, Paris, Verona and Milano! And there i was thinking that was it for my lifetime.

But here we are less than a year later, i can hardly believe it. Wembley is the first one, so many 10c members coming! It's gonna be awesome!

Anywhoo, i'll be there with my girl Naomi, and our touring buddies Dave and Emma! Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Peace!

snipes824

Thats me on the left. I'm from New York. This is going to be my first time traveling Europe. I'm a college student currently so I'm blowing all my cash on this. You guys better show me a good time! Anyway I don't know what else to say. Hopefully I'll meet some of you fellow jammers at the shows. Later on.

dbk a.k.a don

Heres me and the boy celebrating on getting wembley tickets..sadly he wont be able to attend as he is saving his pocket money up for ozzy, so i will be bringing that asshole cjc who i brought to the astoria, so bring plenty of eggs!!
My name is don(dbk) i have met a lot of you before at astoria, dublin and reading and if i remember correctly you were all complete and utter bastards!!
i am probably better known for my receding hairline, charity work and ability to retrieve balloons off scaffolding whilst pissed as to try and impress slappers, and of course who could forget the time i pushed in front of you at the concession stand at the multiplex cinema and you really wanted to say something but your partner persuaded you not to and to this day it still riles you!!

Evolutionary

Ahoy! That'll be me on the left... real name Chris (or Frog/Nat if you know me from anywhere else).
Really looking forward to not having to trek all the way to Italy to see the band this time, but can't wait to catch up with everyone we met there last year! :)
Anyway, short and sweet... thats the way I like it ;)

vedder_soup

An Australian jammer living in London.
By the time Wembley comes around it could be my 7th Pearl Jam show, assumuing i get tickets to Munich that is...
Real name is Michael and i am 24 years old. Met a few jammers at the Reading festival with the meet up on the sunday which is where this photo is from... i am the one in the black shirt in the middle

Heineken Helen

Ok, well this is me, Heineken Helen, or just 'Helen' to most people. I've met most of you so I've no idea what to say here. Those of you I haven't met, see ya in June :)

blue_rain (Laura)

This is me all happy and sweaty with a friend after the Marseille 2006 show :)

I live in London and have been a fan of Pearl Jam since Ten. My parents wouldn't let me see any of their early shows due to me being under age at the time, so I first saw them at Wembley in '96. I've since seen them 15 times during the course of the Euro 2000 (London, Manchester, Stockholm, Roskilde) tour, American 2003 (Boston shows, Philly, New York shows) tour and the Euro 2006 (Astoria, Reading, Marseille, Bern) tour.

I can't wait to see them play Wembley. If you recognise me say hellooo! I'm also going to Munich, Katowice, Copenhagen and Nijmegen.
